Re: “Al Gore’s climate snow job” – Lorrie Goldstein (Nugget, Feb., 3, 2011)
About 10 days after meteorologists have declared 2010 to be the hottest year on record, The North Bay Nugget weighs in on the issue. Well, I should say Sun Media weighs in, via Lorrie Goldstein, who has apparently taken a break from defending Israel’s human rights record to make a pronouncement pertaining to climate change.
Gathering his valuable evidence from the droppings of noted climatologist Bill O’Reilly, of … get this … Fox News… Goldstein has reached a conclusion. Climate change, if not a fraud, is something that requires more debate, and study, free from the influence of people’s political agendas. Basically, he’s saying that climate change is not well enough established to be addressed by politicians yet.
While I have no intention in debating climate change – everyone except those with a financial interest in it not being over, knows that the debate is over – Lorrie Goldstein and Bill O’Reilly point to the fact that there are snow storms this winter to prove that climate change is a hoax and Al Gore is a liar.
While every single moment we waste in a state of inaction, brings us closer to climactic disaster, The North Bay Nugget is telling us to go about our business, creating the biggest carbon footprint we can.
The North Bay Nugget is propagating the viewpoint of FOX News.
North Bay deserves better than regurgitated FOX News Nuggets.
